Prep for our Visit

Tips to Prepare your home for our visit

Here are some tips and information in preparation for our visit. Upon arriving at your home, we will walk through the areas or furniture you want cleaned with you to make sure our estimate meets your desired results. Please point out any problem areas that may require special attention from our technicians.

Carpet Cleaning

1. We will first vacuum all carpet in the rooms to be cleaned. Please make sure all personal items and loose electrical cords are picked up off of the ground.
2. We will move small furniture (such and end-tables, chairs). For liability reasons we are not able to move large or breakable items such as: Entertainment centers, bureaus, beds (unless on rollers), or china hutches.
3. We will thoroughly clean your carpets with The Natural®, Chem-Dry’s unique hot carbonating cleaning solution, which is safe and non-toxic and any purchased protectant or anti-allergen products.
4. The carpet cleaning should remove most spots, but difficult spills may require additional Specialty Stain Removal service.
5. We will groom the carpet pile, wipe baseboards where needed and return the rooms into the condition that we found them.

Upholstery Cleaning

1. We will clean the upholstery with the appropriate method whether leather, micro-fiber, or standard upholstery.
2. The upholstery cleaning should remove most spots, but difficult spills may require additional Specialty Stain Removal service.
3. We will apply any purchased protectant or anti-allergen products.

Tile Cleaning

1. Please make sure all personal items and loose electrical cords are picked up off of the ground
2. We will move small furniture (such and end-tables, chairs). For liability reasons we are not able to move large or breakable items such as: Entertainment centers, bureaus, beds (unless on rollers), or china hutches.
3. We will thoroughly clean your tile with our safe, non-toxic cleaners with our high-pressured cleaning machine that eliminates over spray.
4. We will thoroughly dry your tile and grout and apply any purchased sealant.

Please note: We are happy to do part or all of the tile and grout in each room, however, the difference between the clean and unclean will be amazingly noticeable.
